Colossians 1:15-20 Part Two of Two NKJV

Colossians 1:15-20 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones of dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him.

And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,

and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Isaiah 53:1-12 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed,

All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation?  For He was cut off from the the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

And they made His grave with the wicked-- But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief, When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.

Revelation 1:12-19 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me, and having turned I saw seven golden lampstands ,

and in the midst of the seven lampstands  One like the Son of Man, clothed with a  garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.

His head and hand were were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;

His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;

He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shinning in its strength,

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead, But He laid His right hand of me, saying to me,  "Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last,

"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.Amen, And I have the keys of Hades and of Death,

'Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and have given  us the ministry of reconciliation,
that is, that God was in Christ reconciled the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us, the word of reconciliation,

Now then, we are ambassadors fro Christ, as though God were pleading through us, we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
