Philippians 1:1-30 NKJV

1 Timothy 3:8-13 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money,

holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience,

But let those also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.

Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanders, temperate, faithful in all things.

Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:4-6 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,

that yo were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge,

even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,

Job 13:13-19 "Hold your peace with me, and let me speak, Then let come on me what may!

Why do I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hands?

Though He may slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

He also shall be my salvation, For a hypocrite could not come before Him.

Listen carefully to my speech, And to my declaration with your ears.

See now, I have prepared my case, I know that I shall be vindicated.

Who is he who will contend with Me? If now I hold my tongue, I perish.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,

if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found named.

For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed  up by life.

Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who alos has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

So we are always confident, knowing that while we  are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

we are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Ephesians 4:1-3 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God,

not of works, lest anyone should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
