Philippians 3:1-11 NKJV


Philippians 3:1-11 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious but for you it is safe.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!

For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,

though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so;

circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;

concerning zeal, persecuting the church, concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

1 Thessalonians 5:8-24 But let s who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation  through our Lord Jesus Christ,

who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,

and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.

See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.

Rejoice always,

pray without ceasing,

in everything give thanks; for this the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Do not quench the Spirit.

Do not despise prophesies.

Test all things; hold fast what is good.

Abstain from every form of evil.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

Romans 7:5-6 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.

But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newnesss of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

2 Corinthians 5:14-16 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus; that if One died for all, then all died;

and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer form themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh, Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.
