The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.
The coming of Jesus will not be hidden or secret—it will be a glorious event witnessed by every eye. Many will be shocked because they lived unprepared, ignoring God’s call to repentance and salvation. The Bible declares in Matthew 24:27, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” His return will be sudden and visible to all, for Revelation 1:7 says, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him.” The Lord also warns in 1 Thessalonians 5:2, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” This is why we must stay ready and faithful, for Matthew 24:44 reminds us, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Now is the time to walk in holiness, seek His will daily, and live with expectation, because His coming will be a surprise only to those who are not watching. 2 Peter 3:10-11 tells us, But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.
