THE KEEPER’S MANDATE — LET THE FIRE NEVER GO OUT
“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13
The journey of Keeping the Perpetual Fire reminds us that our walk with God is not a momentary spark but a lifelong flame. Every believer is called to be a keeper of the altar, a guardian of divine passion, and a steward of sacred fire. The fire represents God’s presence, purity, and power — and to lose it is to lose our spiritual vitality.
The truth is, fire once kindled can fade if not fed. Many started well, burning with zeal and fervency, but along the way, compromise, weariness, or worldliness dimmed their light. Yet God, in His mercy, calls us again: “Return to the altar. Rekindle the flame. Feed the fire.”
The perpetual fire is sustained through prayer, worship, holiness, the Word, and obedience. These are not religious acts but life-giving disciplines that keep our spirits burning bright in a dark world. When we live in communion with the Holy Spirit, our lives become living altars where heaven and earth meet.
Let us rise as modern Levites — men and women who refuse to let the flame die. Let our homes, churches, and nations be filled again with the fragrance of sacrifice and the glow of divine fire. For when the fire burns continually, darkness cannot prevail, and the glory of God will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
The call is simple yet profound: Keep the fire burning. Let your worship be constant, your prayer ceaseless, your faith unwavering, and your devotion uncompromised. And when your race is done, may your legacy be that others burn because you first caught the flame.

Reflection
• Am I walking daily in the consciousness of God’s presence?
• Is the altar of my heart burning or growing cold?
• What will it cost me to keep the flame alive until the end?
