Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.” — Romans 4:19–21 (NIV) 📖 Devotional Message: Faith That Laughs at the Impossible Abraham’s story teaches us what it means to believe God beyond what makes sense. His body was weak, Sarah’s womb was barren, yet his faith stayed strong. He didn’t deny the facts — he just refused to let them define the outcome. That’s the power of faith that leads to laughter. Faith doesn’t ignore reality; it confronts it with confidence in God’s Word. Abraham faced the facts but still glorified God because he was fully persuaded that God would do exactly what He said. That’s where victory begins — when your trust becomes stronger than your trials. Laughter comes after faith has finished its work. Before Sarah laughed, Abraham believed. Before the promise manifested, he worshipped. Faith always produces joy in the end, because every word God speaks carries the power to fulfill itself. You may be facing your own “dead” situations — dreams that seem delayed, hopes that feel lifeless, promises that look impossible. But if God said it, He will do it.
