Ephesians 5:1-7 NKJV

Ephesians 5:1-7 Therefore be imitators of god as dear children.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us; an offering and a sacrifice to god for a sweet-smelling aroma.

But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints;

neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of god comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Therefore do not be partakers with them.

Luke 6:27-36 "But I say to yo who hear; Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

"bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

"To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold  your tunic either.

"Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.

"And just as you want men to due to you, you also do to them likewise.

"But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

"And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

"and if you lend to to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.

"But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For he is kind to the unthankful and evil.

"Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.b

Colossians 3:1-11 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, siting at the right hand of God.

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,

in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

But now you yourselves are to put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

Do not lie to one another; since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

and have put on the new man who  is renewed in the knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
