I have just finished Genesis up to the point of Joseph's passing, and the story of Jacob and his sons is...interesting 🙃. I was so conflicted over Jacob's character throughout the readings, where my struggle is with the concept of Grace, not Jacob himself. But this projection happens when you're a beneficiary of Grace, but still cannot fathom it. Ironic when you consider my name directly translates to "The Grace of God".
