1 Peter 2:1-10 NKJV

Psalm 118:22-24 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.

This was the Lord's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Isaiah 8:11-15 For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying;

"Do not say, 'A conspiracy,' Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.

He will be as a sanctuary, But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense To both the houses of Israel, As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

And many among them shall stumble; They shall fall and be broken, Be snared and taken."

Romans 9:22-29 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured  with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

As he says also in Hosea; "I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved."

"And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not My people,' There they shall be called sons of the living God."

Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel; "Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved.

For He will finish the work and cut down it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth."

And as Isaiah said before; "Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been like Gomorrah."

Acts 26:12-18 "While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,

"at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shinning around me and those who journeyed with me.

"And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me,  and saying in the Hebrew language, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'

"So I said, 'Who are You, Lord?' and He said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

"But rise and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make known a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.

'I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me."

Hosea 1:9-11 Then God said; "Call his name Lo-Ammi, For you are not My people, And I will not be your God.

Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them. 'You are not My people," There it shall be said to them, 'You are sons of the living God.'

Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel Shall be gathered together, And appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel!
