THEME: “God Did Not Create Man to Suffer, But to Live in the Light of His Works”
Bible Texts: Genesis 1:27 – Micah 6:8 – Acts 17:31 – John 10:10
---
Introduction
Beloved in the Lord,
When we look around today, it feels like everything has become about money, power, and selfish gain.
Even water — the most basic gift of life — is now sold.
It’s as if humanity must buy the very life that God freely gave!
But God never created the world for that.
He didn’t create man to suffer or to fight his fellow man, but to live in peace, love, justice, and thankfulness.
---
1. God Created Everything Freely, Out of Love
From the beginning, God made the earth beautiful and full of life.
He said in Genesis 1:29:
> “See, I have given you every seed-bearing plant and every tree with fruit; they will be yours for food.”
God gave water, light, fruits, animals — all as gifts of love.
There was no buying, no selling, no pain.
Everything was perfect, because God is a generous Father.
But when man sinned, he turned away from the Source of life.
The human heart grew selfish, and the world became a marketplace.
---
2. Sin Turned God’s Gifts Into Commerce
Today, mankind sells what God has given and forgets the Giver Himself.
He sells land, he sells peace, he sells water...
But none of these things belong to him!
The Bible declares in Psalm 24:1:
> “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
Because of greed, justice has disappeared, compassion has grown cold, and suffering fills the earth.
---
3. There Will Be a Final Judgment
God sees everything.
He hears the cry of the poor, the widows, the orphans, and the innocent.
And He says in Acts 17:31:
> “For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed — Jesus Christ.”
That day will surely come — a day of absolute truth.
Neither wealth, beauty, nor power will speak, but the deeds of each person.
And God will ask:
> “Did you love your neighbor? Did you forgive? Did you walk in righteousness?”
---
4. Man Is Not an Animal — He Can Change His Life
You said it beautifully:
> “Man is not an animal who cannot change his life.”
Yes! Man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).
He has a conscience, intelligence, and a heart capable of love.
God wants man to wake up and turn away from wickedness.
The Lord says in Ezekiel 33:11:
> “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.”
God is calling for change — not tomorrow, but today!
---
5. God Expects Good Deeds From Mankind
In Micah 6:8, Scripture tells us:
> “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
God is not only looking for prayers — He’s looking for transformed hearts.
He wants us to be living witnesses of His love:
To help the poor,
To forgive those who hurt us,
To speak the truth,
To build peace wherever we go.
These are the actions that glorify the name of the Lord.
---
6. A Call to the African Youth
African youth,
God is looking at you with love.
You were not born to copy the world’s evil, but to shine the light of Christ upon your continent.
Reject corruption, hatred, jealousy, and greed.
Choose the path of truth, justice, peace, and living faith.
Jesus said:
> “You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14)
So shine brightly!
Let your words, your studies, your work, and your friendships become living testimonies of God’s goodness.
---
7. Conclusion: God Wants to Restore Humanity
Yes, God did not create man to suffer, but to live in harmony with Him.
He wants to restore the world — but it starts with you and me.
Today, He is calling:
> “My son, my daughter, come back to Me. Leave the ways of evil, seek the truth, and I will bless you.”
Because the day is coming when:
> “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or pain.” (Revelation 21:4)
---
๐ฝ Final Prayer
> Eternal God of Israel,
We thank You for Your living Word.
Awaken our hearts, purify our minds, and make us instruments of peace and justice.
Give African youth the courage to walk in truth and honor Your name.
Let our lives be a testimony that You did not create man to suffer, but to live in Your divine light.
In Jesus Christ’s mighty name we pray — Amen.
