1 Peter 3:13-22- 1 Peter 4:1-6 NKJV

Ephesians 5:22-33 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church, and He is the Savior of the body.

Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ. so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."

This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

John 1:10-13 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name;

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Acts 10:34-43 Then Peter opened his mouth and said, "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.

"But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

"The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ--He is Lord of all--

"What word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached;

"how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

"And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree.

"Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly,

"not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after he arose from the dead.

"And He commanded to us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.

"To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins."
