Pursue God's will first over personal gain , not the opposite.

Matthew 6 v 24 "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

Good day friends, even before man was created , God knew what he would need to live. We have powerful preachers, men God has gifted to speak who have ignored their calling_ for money. When Jesus looked at Matthew and said follow me , "Matthew left everything behind". Levi valued his soul over everything he owned and he saw salvation right in front of him. Friends, you are priceless and God has called you to reach out to other priceless people still living in sin. So if you trade priceless people for a job promotion that will keep you from serving God and expanding God's kingdom here on earth .., judge yourself.. ,where will this leave you?. Am l saying promotion or money is bad , no, l'm saying if you allow anything to succeed in keep you from doing God's will _ you have given Satan an upper hand. If your Pastor gave in to a billion dollar job temptation where would this leave the flock??? , and how would you see this shepherd ??. Jesus left Heavenly splendor to come and suffer for his flock ,If duty calls, friends, we have a perfect example to follow. Leave that job if you have to , put God's work first. We have a great reward awaiting above, not mentioning that if God wills you might be grateful oneday as your choice opened way to a greater opportunity_ one inline with your faith and calling. God loves you my friend, you were saved because someone sacrificed and reached out, do the same for others. We all as Christians have a part to play , God has assigned a task for each and every one of us. Pray that God guides you and helps you fulfill your purpose in this life.
