1 Corinthians 3:18-23 NKJV
1 Corinthians 3:18-23 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their own craftiness",
and again, "the LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile."
Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours;
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come--all are yours.
And you are Christ's and Christ is God's.
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
What is Faith?
Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Proverbs 3:5-8 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
