Malachi 1:1-14 NKJV

Hosea 13:9-11 "O Israel, you are destroyed, But you help is from Me.

I will be your King; Where is any other, That he may save you in all your cities? And your judges to whom you said, 'Give me a king and princes'?

I gave you a king in My anger, And took him away in My wrath.

1 Corinthians 9:13-18 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offering of the altar?

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.

But I have used none of these things, nor have I written  these things that it should be done so to me; for it would be better for me to die than that anyone should make my boasting void.

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

For if I do this willingly, I have reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.

What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.

Isaiah 43:22-24 "But you have not called upon Me, O Jacob; And you have been weary of Me, O Israel.

You have not brought Me the sheep for your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with grain offerings, Nor wearied you with incense.

You have bought Me no sweet cane with money, Nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your sacrifices; But you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your iniquities.
