Malachi 2:1-7 NKJV

Malachi 2:1-7 "And now, O priests, this commandment is for you.

If you will not hear; And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name," Says the LORD of hosts, "I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.

"Behold, I will rebuke your descendants And spread refuse on your faces, The refuse of your solemn feasts; And one will take you away with it.

Then you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you, That My covenant with Levi may continue." says the LORD of hosts.

"My covenant was with him, one of life and peace, and I gave them to him that he might fear Me; so he feared Me And was reverent before My name.

The law of truth was in his mouth, And injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and equity, And turned many away from iniquity.

"For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

Deuteronomy 28:15-19 "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statues which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon  you and overtake you;

"Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.

"Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

"Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offering of your flocks.

"Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.

Exodus 29:10-18 "You shall also have the bull brought before the tabernacle of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull.

"Then you shall kill the bull before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

"You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the base of the altar.

"And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.

"But the flesh of the bull, with its skin and its offal, you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering.

"You shall also take the ram, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the ram;

"and you shall kill the ram, and you shall take its blood and sprinkle it all around on the altar.

"Then you shall cut the ram in pieces, wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and with its head.

"And you shall burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD; it is a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

Numbers 25:10-13 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying;

"Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the children of Israel, because he was zealous with My zeal among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal.

"Therefore say, 'Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace.

'and it shall be to him and his descendants after him a covenant of everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.'"

Deuteronomy 33:10-11 They shall teach Jacob Your judgements, And Israel Your law. They shall put incense before You, And a whole burnt sacrifice on Your altar.

Bless his substance, LORD, And accept the work of his hands; Strike the loins of those who rise against him, And of those who hate him, that they rise not again."

Deuteronomy 17:8-13 "If a matter arises which is too hard for you to judge, between degrees of guilt for bloodshed, between one judgment or another, or between one punishment or another, matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the LORD your God chooses.

"And you shall come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge there is those days, and inquire of them; they shall pronounce upon you the sentence of judgment.

"You shall do according to the sentence which they pronounce upon you in that place which the LORD chooses. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they order you.

"According to the sentence of the law in which they instruct you, according to the judgement which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left from the sentence which they pronounce upon you.

"Now the man who acts presumptuously and will not heed the priest who stands to minister there before the LORD your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall put away the evil from Israel.

"And all the people shall bear and fear, and no longer act presumptuously.
