Zechariah 2:1-13 NKJV

Zechariah 2:1-13 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

So I said, "Where are you going?" And he said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length."

And there was the angel who talked to me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him,

who said to him, "Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

'For I,' says the LORD, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.'"

"Up, up! Flee from the land of the north," says the LORD; "for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven," says the LORD.

"Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon."

For thus says the LORD of hosts; "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

"For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants, Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me.

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the LORD.

"Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.

"And the LORD will take possession of Judah and His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

"Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!"

Jeremiah 31:38-40 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the city shall be built for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.

"The surveyor's line shall again extend straight forward over the hill Gareb; then it shall turn toward Goath.

"And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever."

Isaiah 48:20-22 Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, Utter it to the end of the earth; Say, "The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob!'

And they did not thirst When He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them; He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out.

"There is no peace," says the LORD, "for the wicked."

Deuteronomy 28:64 "Then the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known--wood and stone.

And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place, but there the LORD will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul.

"Your life shall hang in doubt before you, you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life.
