Amos 2:9-12 NKJV
Amos 2:9-12 "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Whose height was like the height of the cedars, And he was as strong as the oaks; Yet I destroyed his fruit above And his roots beneath.
Also It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And led you forty years through the wilderness, To possess the land of the Amorite.
I raised up some of your sons as prophets, And some of your young men as Nazirites. Is it not so, O you children of Israel?" Says the LORD.
"But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, And commanded the prophets saying, 'Do not prophesy!'
Exodus 12:43-51 And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron. "This is the ordinance of the Passover; No foreigner shall eat it.
"But every man's servant who is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then he may eat it.
"A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat it.
"In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of its bones.
"All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
"And when a stranger dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it.
"One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you."
Thus all the children of Israel did; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
And it came to pass, on that very same day, that the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their armies.
Numbers 12:1-8 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
So they said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And the LORD heard it.
(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
Suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!" So the three came out.
Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward.
Then He said, "Hear now My words; If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.
Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house.
I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?"
Isaiah 30:6-11 The burden against the beasts of the South. Through a land of trouble and anguish, From which came the lioness and lion, The viper and fiery flying serpent, They will carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys, And their treasures on the humps of camels, To a people who shall not profit;
For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore I have called her Rahab-Hem-Shebeth.
Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come, Forever and ever;
That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the LORD;
Who say to the seers, "Do not see," And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, Prophesy deceits,
Get out of the way, Turn aside from the path, Case the Holy One of Israel To cease from before us."
