Amos 4:1-6 Hear this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, Who oppress the poor, Who crush the needy, Who say to your husbands, "Bring wine, let us drink!"
The Lord God has sworn by His holiness; "Behold, the days shall come upon you When He will take you away with fishhooks, And your posterity with fishhooks.
You will go out through broken walls, Each one straight ahead of her, and you will be cast into Harmon," says the LORD.
"Come to Bethel and transgress, At Gilgal multiply transgression; Bring your sacrifices every morning, Your tithes every three days.
Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, Proclaim and announce the freewill offerings; For this is love, You children of Israel!" Says the Lord God.
"Also I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me." says the LORD.
Psalm 89:30-37 "If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,
If they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments,
Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.
Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.
My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.
Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.
His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;
It shall be established forever like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky."
Ezekiel 12:1-6 Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying;
"Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear; for they are a rebellious house.
"Therefore, son of man, prepare your belongings for captivity; and go into captivity by day in their sight. You shall go from your place of captivity to another place in their sight. It may be that they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.
"By day you shall bring out your belongings in their sight, as though going into captivity; and at evening you shall go in their sight, like those who go into captivity.
"Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your belongings out through it.
"In their sight you shall hear them on your shoulders and carry them out at twilight; you shall cover your face, so that you cannot see the ground, for I have made you a sign to the house of Israel."
Leviticus 7:11-14 'This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which he shall offer to the LORD;
'If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer, with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, or cakes of blended flour mixed with oil.
'Besides the cakes, as his offering, he shall offer leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offering.
'And from it he shall offer one cake from each offering as a heave offering to the LORD. It shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
Jeremiah 5:1-5 "Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; See now and know; And seek in her own places If you can find a man, If there is anyone who executes judgment, Who seeks the truth, And I will pardon her.
Though they say, 'As the LORD lives,' Surely they swear falsely."
O LORD, are not Your eyes on the truth? You have stricken them, But they have not grieved; You have consumed them, But they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than rock;They have refused to return.
Therefore I said, "Surely these are poor They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the LORD, The judgment of their God.
I will go to the great men and speak to them, For they have known the way of the LORD, The judgment of their God." But these have altogether broken the yoke And burst the bonds.
