Passover NKJV

Luke 22:7-22 Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed.

And He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

So they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare?”

And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water, follow him into the house which he enters.

"Then you shall say to the master of the house, “”The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room whee I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”

“Then he will show you a large furnished upper room; There make ready.”

So they went and found it just as He said to them, and they prepared the Passover.

When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him.

Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

“for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves;

“for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of this vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given to you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you,

“But behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table.

“And truly the Son of Man goes as has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!”

John 2:13-16 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.

When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers money and overturned the tables.

And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”

John 2:23-25 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.

But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,

and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.

Luke 2:41-45 His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.

And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast.

When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem, And Joseph and His mother did not know it;

but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day's journey, and sought Him among the relatives and acquaintances,

So when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him.

Hebrews 11:28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Exodus 12:26-28 "And it shall be, when your children say to you, 'What do you mean by this service?'

"that you shall say, 'It is the Passover sacrifice of the LORD, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.'" So the people bowed their heads and worshipped.

Then the children of Israel went away and did so, just as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
