Not every laughter brings joy to God. Some laughter is shallow, empty, or even hurtful. The Bible calls it “the laughter of fools” — noise without meaning, joy without purity, and amusement that mocks truth.
The laughter that pleases God flows from a heart that is humble, healed, and hopeful. It’s not laughter that ridicules others or rejoices in wrongdoing. It’s laughter born from peace — the kind that overflows because grace has made the heart light again.
