John 2:13-25 NKJV

John 2:13-25 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.

When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers money and overturned the tables.

And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!"

Then His disciples remembered that it is written, "Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up."

So the Jews answered and said to Him, "What sign do You show us, since You do these things?"

Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty -six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"

But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

Therefore, when he had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered  that He had said this to them, and they believed  the Scriptures and the word which Jesus had said.

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.

But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,

and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.

Mark 11:15-17 So they came to Jerusalem, Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who brought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple.

Then He taught, saying to them, 'Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"

Luke 2:41-52 His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.

And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast.

When they had finished the days, as they returned,  the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem, And Joseph and His mother did not know it;

but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day's journey, and sought Him among the relatives and acquaintances,

So when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him.

Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.

And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.

So when they saw Him, they were amazed, and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously."

And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"

But they did not understand the statement which he spoke to them.

Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
