John 4:43-54 NKJV

John 3:1-8 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with Him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born again when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

“Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes, So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Matthew 9:1-7 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city.

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying in a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you."

And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?

"For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise and walk"?

"But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."

And he arose and departed to his house.

Matthew 13:57-58 So they were offended at Him, But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."

Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
