The Orthodox Church has been a martyr. It has never been accepted by this world, nor does it need to be. It has never sought to impose itself; it only seeks space to convey, if anyone wants it, God's blessing. And as Christ's, it is completely independent, and as Saint Gregory Palamas says in one of his sermons, it has a source within itself and is always fresh, strong, powerful, and holy, full of wisdom, truth, and love, and as such, it is invincible.
