John 6:1-14 NKJV
Matthew 14:13-21 When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself, But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.
And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.
When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, "This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food."
But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat."
And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish."
He said, "Bring them here to Me."
Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.
Now those who had eaten were about five hundred men, besides women and children.
2 Kings 4:42-44 Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he said, "Give it to the people, that they may eat."
But his servant said, "What? Shall I set this before one hundred men?" He said again, "Give it to the people, that they may eat; for thus says the LORD; 'They shall eat and have some left over.'"
So He set it before them; and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD.
Luke 22:14-23 When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him.
Then he said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;
"for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."
Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves;
"for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
"but behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table.
"And truly the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!"
Then they began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.
John 1:19-23 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?"
He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ."
And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."
Then they said to him, "Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?"
He said, "I am The voice of one crying in the wilderness; "Make straight the way of the LORD."' as the prophet Isaiah said."
