John 6:41-47 NKJV

John 6:41-47 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven."

And they said, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, 'I have come down from heaven'?"

Jesus therefore answered and said to them, "Do not murmur among yourselves.

"No one can come to Me unless the father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

"It is written in the prophets, 'And they all shall  be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

John 6:33-35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. he who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

"But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Matthew 13:53-58 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there.

When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

"Is this not the carpenter's son?  Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

"And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?

So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."

Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Philippians 1:29-30 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.
