John 7:1-9 NKJV

Leviticus 23:33-38 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD.

'On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it.

'For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eight day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.

'These are the feasts of the LORD which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering and a grain offerings, everything on its day--

'besides the Sabbaths of the LORD, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the LORD.

Psalm 69:5-9 O God, You know my foolishness; And my sins are not hidden from You.

Let not those who wait for You, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed because of me; Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel.

Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; Shame has covered my face.

I have become a  stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother's children;

Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up, And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.

John 15:18-21 "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.

"If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I choose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

"Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep your also.

"But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
