Proverbs 28:10-14 Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, He himself will fall into his own pit; But the blameless will inherit good.
The rich man is wise in his own eyes, But the poor who has understanding searches him out.
When the righteous rejoice, there is great glory; But when the wicked arise, men hid themselves.
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
Happy is the man who is always reverent, But he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
Psalm 32:1-7 BLESSED is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah
I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden, I said, "I will confess my transgressions tot he Lord." and You for gave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
1 John 5:9-13 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.
He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
James 5:15-16 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise Him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
