Only One Receives the Prize
1 Corinthians 9:24–27

If Satan counterfeits everything of God, then today’s “everyone’s a winner” mindset is one of his greatest deceptions. It teaches entitlement instead of endurance, comfort instead of character.

God’s Word says only one receives the prize—not because He’s unfair, but because He calls us to run with purpose, to train our hearts in righteousness, and to discipline ourselves in holiness.

When everything is just handed to you, you don’t learn appreciation—you learn entitlement. But when you work, persevere, and sacrifice, you grow in gratitude, humility, and strength.

A sacrifice that costs nothing is not a sacrifice.
Jesus’ sacrifice cost Him everything.
Are we not also called to walk as He did?

The world says, “You deserve it.”
Jesus says, “Take up your cross and follow Me.”

We cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons (1 Corinthians 10:21–22). God has called us to live differently—to pursue the eternal prize that does not fade.

Run your race. Train your spirit. Fix your eyes on Jesus.
The reward is worth the cost.
