1 John 3:13-24 NKJV

John 3:13-21 “No one has ascended to heaven But He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

“that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn to world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil,

“For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light,  lest his deeds should be exposed.

“But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Deuteronomy 15:7-11 "If there is among you a poor man of your brethren. within any of the gates in your land which the Lord your god is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother,

"but  you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his needs, whatever he needs.
"Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, 'The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand, ' and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the Lord against you, and it become sin among you.

"You shall surely give to him,  and your heart should not be grieve when you give to him, because for this thing  the Lord  your God will bless you in all your works  and in all to which you put your hand.

"For the poor will never cease from the land: therefore I command you, saying, 'You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.'

Ezekiel 33:30-33 "As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the hoses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, 'Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord.'

"So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth  they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.

"Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them.

"And when this comes to pass--surely it will come--then they will know that a prophet has been among them."
