You Spoke My Name
Isaiah 43:1 “Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Hey Readers!
Happy Sunday!
Life often leaves us feeling lost, judged, or unseen. In those quiet moments, when the world calls us sinners or unworthy, there is a voice that knows us completely…God’s voice. He calls us by name, strengthens our hearts, and transforms our scars into grace.
This poem emerged from moments when life felt heavy and the world’s judgments weighed me down. Yet in those tender moments, God’s voice spoke my name … gentle, reassuring, and filled with love. “You Spoke My Name” is a reflection on that divine encounter: how He strengthens us when we are weak, transforms our pain into grace, and gives our hearts the melody of hope. My prayer is that these words remind every reader that even in fear or weakness, we are known, cherished, and carried by His presence.
Poem: You Spoke My Name
Every scar, You turned to grace,
Every tear found its resting place.
When I was weak, You made me strong,
You’ve been my melody all along.
Lord, You’re my everything, my heart, my song,
You’ve been my strength all along.
The world called me sinner,
But You called me near.
You spoke my name
And silenced my fear.
In Your shadow, I rise again,
You wash away my every pain.
Your love is the fire my soul can’t hide,
Forever I’ll stand by Your side.
The world called me sinner,
But You drew me near.
You spoke my name…
And silenced my fear.
Reflection
Even when the world misunderstands or judges us, God sees our hearts. He calls us by name, reminds us of our worth, and carries us through every fear and weakness. Take a moment today to pause, breathe, and listen....perhaps He is speaking your name too.
“Take heart, for He knows you, loves you, and will never leave you.”
God bless!
