Greatest Fear
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
We have our greatest fears, I, personally fear death and basically being abandoned; I also fear a lot of things that turn my anxiety up. And to that response i made a wall to protect myself .Multiple walls that are layered and embedded one with another. Through the years, i made a tower for myself so that fear won't get a hold of me-- but it tore down.
My past painted a spirit of fear -- so dark, gloomy, helpless, alone and naked. Though i made a tower like Babel to guard and hide myself but, like what the bible said " Pride goeth before destruction". Fear came and it was crippling, it sipped through my soul and it ravished violently like a hungry wolf and it tore me apart.
When i thought i was at my end, i cried silently "Lord save me" -- it was when a glimmer of light slowly resonate inside.
It kept me warm, even if i'm half dead i know for myself He rescued me.
That was the moment i feared death, but death was already conquered by my Savior Jesus Christ my God. All i need to do is call unto him and he will answer.. Call unto him and he will save you -- i may have that roughest night of my entire life, but i also felt the grace of His hand. My fears dissapeared -- i may feel fear but not the fear i know.
I fear that i might fall to the same sin and i might anger God, and i might be lost again.
We as humans categorize 4 types of fears. Rational, irrational, primal and fundamental.
And we distinctly approach fear differently.
But there are only 2 biblical fear; Godly fear - Which can be described as Fear of the Lord, and spirit of fear this comes from doubting God.
We know God is loving and forgiving, but his is also Just and Holy. We come to him as a sinner we should come out clean, and the only way is to be washed by the blood of Jesus his Son.
We may have the spirit of fear, but a God fearing person knows that God will be his shield.
So stop fearing, start believing.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have an everlasting life. God sent not his Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be save.
