2 Corinthians 10:7 Darby

2 Corinthians 10:7 Do you look at what concerns appearance? If any one has confidence in himself that he is of Christ, let him think this again in myself, that even as he is of Christ, so also are we.

John 7:24 Judge not according to sight, but judge righteous judgment.

Proverbs 24:23-25 These things also come from the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

He that says unto the wicked, You are righteous, peoples will curse him, nations will abhor him;

but to them that rebuke him will be delight, and a good blessing comes upon them.

Leviticus 19:15 You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment; you shall not respect the person of the lowly, nor honor the person of the great; in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

Isaiah 5:21-23 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and intelligent in their own esteem!

Woe unto them that are mighty for drinking wine, and men valiant to mix strong drink;

who justify the wicked for a bribe, and turn away the righteousness of the righteous from them!

Proverbs 28:23 He that rebukes a man will afterwards find more favor than he that flatters with the tongue.

Proverbs 27:5-6 Open rebuke is better than hidden love.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are profuse.

Matthew 26:48-50 Now he that delivered him up had given them a sign, saying, Whomever I will kiss, he it is; seize him.

And immediately coming up to Jesus he said, Hail, Rabbi, and covered him with kisses.

But Jesus said to him, My friend, for what purpose are you come? Then coming up they laid hands upon Jesus and seized him.

1 Samuel 16:7 But Jehovah said to Sauel, Look not in his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him; for it is as man sees; for man looks upon the outward appearance, but Jehovah looks upon the heart.
