Opening Scriptures before the Message

Isaiah 55:11 so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,

that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:19-21 Consequently we have the prophetic word Made Petrus more sure; and you are doing well in paying attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until today dawns and a daystar rises, in your hearts.

For you know this first, that no prophesy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation.

For prophecy was at no time brought by man's will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-3 And Jehovah proceeded to answer Job out of the windstorm and say;

"Who is this that is obscuring counsel By words without knowledge?

Gird up your loins, please, like an able-bodied man, And let me question you, and you inform me.

Job 40:6-7 And Jehovah went on to answer Job out of the windstorm and say;

"Gird up your loins, please, like an able-bodied man; I shall question you, and you inform me.

Job 42:4-7 'Hear, please, and I myself shall speak. I shall question you, and you inform me.

In hearsay I have heard about you, But now my own eye does see you.

That is why I make a retraction, And I do repent in dust and ashes."

And it came about after Jehovah had spoken these words to Job, that Jehovah proceeded to say to El'i-phaz the Te'-man-ite; "My anger has grown hot against you and your two companions, for you men have not spoken concerning me what is truthful as has my servant Job.

Romans 10:14-17 However, how will they call on him in whom they have not put faith? How, in turn, will they put faith in him of whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach?

How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written; "How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!"

Nevertheless, they did not all obey the good news. For Isaiah says; "Jehovah, who put faith in the thing heard from us?"

So faith follows the thing heard. In turn the thing heard is through the word about Christ.

Acts 26:17-18 while I deliver you from [this people] and from the nations, to whom I am sending you,

to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by [their] faith in me.'

Romans 15:4-7 For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.

Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant you to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ had,

that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore welcome one another, just as the Christ also welcomed us, with glory to God in view.
