The Garden of Growing Grace
The morning light spilled gently across the Garden of Growing Grace, where the air smelled of lilacs and rain-kissed leaves. In the center stood a great Tree, its branches heavy with both blossoms and fruit — signs of beginnings and blessings side by side.
Michelle walked hand in hand with Aaron along the garden’s path. At her side, little Brynleigh ran ahead, laughter sparkling like sunlight through dew. Wherever her tiny feet touched, flowers of pure joy bloomed — daisies, buttercups, and bright forget-me-nots — as if the earth itself rejoiced for her.
Michelle placed her hand over her heart and smiled, feeling the faint rhythm of another heartbeat within her — the little boy still growing, a gift not yet seen but already deeply loved.
The Tree’s branches swayed as a soft wind whispered through its leaves.
> “Many gardens begin in unexpected seasons,” the Tree said gently. “But the seeds God plants are never by mistake. What matters is how you tend them — with love, patience, and grace.”
Aaron reached for Michelle’s hand again, and in that moment, the Tree’s roots glowed faintly beneath their feet — as if Heaven itself blessed the ground where they stood.
> “Yours is a young garden,” the Tree continued, “still tender, learning how to bend with life’s winds. But already I see strength in your roots — devotion, laughter, and the courage to keep growing together.”
Brynleigh ran back to them, clutching a petal in each hand. “Look, Mommy! They grew just for us!”
Michelle knelt to her level, smiling through tears. “Yes, sweetheart,” she whispered. “They did.”
The Tree lifted its branches high, sending a shower of golden leaves around them like gentle rain.
> “This family is a living promise,” it said. “Love has planted you here — and love will make you flourish.”
As the sunlight broke fully across the garden, Michelle felt peace bloom deep in her spirit — knowing that no matter what tomorrow brought, her garden would keep growing under God’s care.
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:13

For Michelle and Aaron, with love and prayers for a lifetime of growing grace.
May your garden be forever rooted in faith, laughter, and love.
Love always, Grandma
