Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
My She Shed is a bit more of a complex puzzle than anticipated; however, I do have a ceiling w/full insulation, and the north wall is also insulated. The momma mouse and her babies were relocated, and the pieces of paneling have been cut to size for installation after the rest of the insulation is placed. The difference a ceiling makes.
I was blessed with a road trip to go get lunch for my workers with my pre-teen granddaughter. I did not realize how much I needed that bonding moment. That child fills my soul. Later, I was blessed with multiple bonding conversations with my daughter, again, did not realize how much I needed that time. Not to mention the amount of hugs I received.
This morning, while making our coffee, I watched the water as it dispensed through the Keurig. This early in the morning, my eyes are not the best, so it is always better to just take a tumbler of water with me to the machine. After making my husband’s cup, I began to refill…just to be safe. As it was brewing my cup, I still had plenty of water left. I continued to fill the tank as my cup was dispensing. By the end of my cup, the tank was still full, because I continued to fill it. Thus, it is ready for me when I am ready for my second cup.
While my first cup was coming out, my mind switched to church this morning. I had been kicking around, staying home, and working on the book. That book is completely God-breathed, so for a fleeting moment, I perceived that to be an adequate substitute for going to church. However, as I watched the water fill the tank of the Keurig whilst dispensing at the same time, the working section of my brain asked this question, ‘How far are you going to go if you do not refill your tank?”
Don’t you just hate it when He is right? Haha.
Two days in a row logic has been spoken and two days in a row I have been reminded of what is important and Who leads my life. I am sure it has been more than that, but let's not expect my overcrowded memory to acknowledge too many days in a row.
Today, make your way to your local Spiritual Gas Station. Sit at the premium pump and get a fresh tank of the good stuff.
Be blessed today my friends.
***Then the word of the Lord came to me: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.” – Jeremiah 18:5-6
