Rest in His Presence

You don’t always have to see or do — sometimes you just have to rest in the stillness of His presence.
Be still and know that He is God.

Jesus told Martha that Mary had chosen what was best — to sit at His feet, listening and loving Him. In that quiet place, His gentle voice whispers, “Child, enter My rest. You are secure in My presence. Just be — no need to strive, just relax.”

Sometimes the greatest revelation comes in the silence. Elijah didn’t find God in the wind or the storm, but in the gentle whisper.

The world tells you to keep going, never stop, wear yourself out. But the Father calls you to linger — to stay close, to rest, to just be with Him.

In Psalm 23 your cup overflows — a sign that the King doesn’t want you to leave His presence. When your cup overflows, He’s saying, “Stay a while. Let Me fill you. I delight in you.”

Let His peace wash over you. Lay down the distractions, the hurt, the pain — and find rest for your soul.
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28–29)

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.” (Psalm 37:7)
To rest in the shadow of the Almighty, you must stay close to Him.

You are the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8) — precious, protected, and cherished. Just as we instinctively protect our own eyes, God tenderly guards you. You are His delight, His treasure, His beloved.

So today, stop striving. Sit at His feet. Let your heart be still — and simply rest in His presence.
