And hope maketh not ashamed KJV

And hope maketh not ashamed

Romans 4:17-25 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sa'-rah's womb.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him.

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Je'-sus our Lord from the dead;

Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 5:1-5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Je'-sus Christ;

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope;

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Genesis 15:1-5 After these things the word of the LORD, came unto A'-bra-ham in a vision, saying, Fear not, A'-bra-ham: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

And A'-bra-ham said, Lord GOD, what will thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this E-li-e'-zer of  Da-mas'-cus?

And A'-bram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed; and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them; and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Hebrews 11:11-12 Though faith also Sa'-ra herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

Genesis 21:1-8 And the LORD visited Sa'-rah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sa'-rah as he had spoken.

For Sa'-rah conceived, and bare A'-bra-ham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him,

And A'-bra-ham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sa'-rah bare to him, I'-saac,

And A'-bra-ham circumcised his son I'-saac being eight days old, as God commanded him.

And A'-bra-ham was an hundred years old, when his son I'-saac was born unto him.
