I saw the LORD!

I believe the reunion of Mary Magdalene and Jesus within the tomb was much more poignant than what we experience now. John 20 reports Mary Magdalene's great delight upon telling the disciples what she had seen when she found the resurrected Jesus Christ. She had seen the Lord—the risen one. She personally and closely interacted with the Lord. And when she was delivering the good news to the disciples, her grin was so contagious that her heart was either bursting with happiness or sorrow. Mary was trying to convey something important to the disciples.
Indeed, it was heartening to hear that the prophecy of Jesus before his crucifixion had come true. Many of Jesus's disciples and many others saw him really rising from the grave. Given that Mary was not the only one visiting, Peter, John, and other disciples were also present. What do you suppose is the difference between Mary's experience with Jesus and that of others? Let us reinterpret the passage once more.
Examining the passage, one notes that Mary Magdalene visited the tomb early in the morning while it was dark and observed the stone had been taken out. She told the disciples right away and returned to the tomb alone. John went ahead of Peter, bent over, and peered in at the linen strips lying there, but he never entered. 3. Peter entered the tomb and discovered individually folded burial fabric as well as strips of linen lying there. After Jesus was taken by the soldiers, John, Peter, and other disciples denied and abandoned Him.
How do we daily seek God? Are we like Mary Magdalene, who already, at the wee hour, had begun to travel to the tomb to search for Jesus, or are we like Peter and John, who sought Jesus merely at the entrance but did not dare to seek him thoroughly?
Some of us find it difficult to get up early to begin our quiet time with the Lord; some would only spend "considerable" time either praying or doing nothing. Those raised orthodoxly may find these questions odd. "What was the message of the Lord to you? During your dedication, did any word really resonate with you? I want you to understand that God has left a lasting impression on me, whether it's now or in the past. Imagine the joy of finding salvation! Our church's transition from decades to postmodern times may have led to a rare use of these terms. But we have lost the chance to go through that kind of close interaction.
Salvation depends on our connection with the Lord Jesus, not on our membership. We see Mary's brilliant and beaming face. Of all the disciples, why Mary? Given she was the worst among them, why her? She truly was a prostitute! But when we give this meeting of Mary with Jesus more thought, I think it was the most amazing event she experienced. Without a doubt, it brought her immense joy! Mary met Jesus as her rescuer: 1. She was spared the clutches of the Pharisees and those attempting to stone her to death. 2. Jesus delivered her from seven demonic entities in her body and set her free. 3. Jesus raised from the dead someone thought to be a sister of Lazarus.
Among John, Peter, and other disciples, none personally encountered Jesus. Though they have seen it firsthand, they have never directly gone through it. They only asserted that Jesus is the Son of God when he showed them. Mary also saw Jesus as her Lord as she personally watched the risen Lord. Jesus was Lord indeed, even across death.
Do we have this kind of meeting with our Saviour Jesus Christ that will let us bubble with delight and relate what we have gone through? Our direct experience with our Saviour Jesus Christ radiates the glory of God in our life. Alternatively, are we simply at ease in our chairs, unaware of the spiritual treasures we have missed?
If you are not comfortable longer and you discover that you are not happy in your spiritual life or you are feeling a spiritual dryness and you wish to have a close personal encounter with Jesus Christ exactly like Mary, kindly come to the Lord and pray. Allow the Lord to fully control your life and experience His joy; refrain from hardening your heart. And you would say, I want to see you, Lord, as I wish to get to know you more.
