The Helper NKJV
Psalm 10:12-18 Arise, O LORD! O God, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble.
Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, "You will not require an account."
But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, To repay it by Your hand, The helpless commits himself to you; You are the helper of the fatherless.
Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none.
The LORD is king forever and ever; The nations have perished out of His land.
LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear,
To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more.
Psalm 11:4-7 The LORD is in His holy temple, The LORD's throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.
The LORD tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates,
Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be the portion of their cup.
For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.
2 Timothy 1:8-18 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
to which I was appointed preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me, among whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;
but when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very zealously and found me.
The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day--and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus.
Psalm 68:4-10 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, and rejoice before Him.
A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.
God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
O God, when You went out before Your people, When You marched through the wilderness, Selah
The earth shook; The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel,
You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance, When it was weary.
Your congregation dwelt in it; You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor.
