THE MEDIA’S SUNDAY PUSH, VS. GOD’S ETERNAL SABBATH.
Friends, prophecy is fulfilling before our eyes. The media now boldly declares that “Christians are free to choose their own day of rest,” and that “The Church, under Peter’s authority, changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.” Many even claim, “The Church has every right to decide which day Christians regard as their Sabbath.”

But the Word of God stands unmoved:
“Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law.” (Matthew 5:18 KJV)

From Genesis to Revelation, the Sabbath has never changed. God Himself rested, blessed, and sanctified the seventh day. “And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.” (Genesis 2:3 KJV)

The Catholic Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine admits plainly:

“We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.” — Rev. Peter Geiermann, Convert’s Catechism, p. 50

Early Church Fathers echoed this transition:

“We keep the eighth day Sunday Bishtu with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead.” — Letter of Barnabas 15:6–8 (A.D. 74)
“No longer observing the Sabbath, but living in observance of the Lord’s Day.” — Ignatius of Antioch, Letter to the Magnesians 8 (A.D. 110)
“On the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or in the country gather together in one place.” — Justin Martyr, First Apology 67 (c. A.D. 150)

These were the seeds of a man-made change, not a divine one.
As Ellen G. White wrote:

“When our nation shall so abjure the principles of its government as to enact a Sunday law, Protestantism will in this act join hands with Popery.” — Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 712

Today, the same Sunday exaltation continues—wrapped in culture, politics, and false revival. When men exalt Sunday, they exalt papal power. When we keep the seventh-day Sabbath, we honor the Creator.

The Sabbath is not Jewish—it is Edenic. It was sanctified before sin, reaffirmed at Sinai, honored by Christ, kept by the apostles, and will be kept in the new earth. “For as the new heavens and the new earth … it shall come to pass, that from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.” (Isaiah 66:22-23 KJV)

The issue before us is not convenience—it’s loyalty. The Sabbath is the seal of God’s authority. Sunday is the mark of man’s rebellion. One is Heaven’s rest; the other is Babylon’s counterfeit.

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12 KJV)

Choose this day whom you will serve. The time is almost up.
