How to hear and understand the Gospel

Job 38:1-2 KJV Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

Job 40:6-7 KJV Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Gird up thy lions now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

Job 42:4-7 KJV Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth thee.

Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

And it will be so, that after the LORD spoke these words unto Job, the LORD said to E-li'-phaz the Te'-manite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

Romans 10:14-17 KJV How then shall they call on him of whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be went? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For E-sa'-ias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
