Isaiah 55:11 The words I speak are like that. They will not return to me without producing results. They will accomplish what I want them to. They will do exactly what I sent them to do.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 God has breathed life into into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes, It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right.

By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing.

2 Peter 1:19-21 We also have the message of the prophets. This message can be trusted completely. You must pay attention to it. The message is like a light shining in a dark place. It will shine until the day Jesus comes. Then the Morning Star will rise in your hearts.

Above all, here is what you must understand. No prophesy in Scripture ever came from a prophet's own understanding of things.

Prophesy never came simply because a prophet wanted it to. Instead, the Holy Spirit guided the prophets as they spoke. So, although prophets are human, prophesy comes from God.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

The LORD Speaks

Job 38:1-3 The LORD spoke to Job out of a storm. He said,

"Who do you think you are to disagree with my plans? You do not know what you are talking about.

Get ready to stand up for yourself. I will ask you some questions. Then I want you to answer me.

Job 40:6-7 Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said,

"Get ready to stand up for yourself. I will ask you some more questions. Then I want you to answer me.

Job 42:4-7 "You said, 'Listen now, and I will speak. I will ask you some questions. Then I want you to answer me.'

My ears had heard about you. But now my won eyes have seen you.

So I hate myself. I'm ready sorry for what I said about you. That's why I'm sitting in dust and ashes."

The Story Ends

After the LORD finished speaking to Job, he spoke to Eliphaz the Temanite. He said, "I am angry with you and your two friends. You have not said what is true about me, as my servant Job has.

Romans 10:14-17 How can they call on him unless they believe in him? How can they believe in him unless they hear about him? How can they hear about him unless someone preaches to them?

And how can anyone preach without being sent? It is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good mews!?

But not all the people of Israel accepted the good news. Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?'

So faith comes from hearing the message. And the message that is heard is the message about Christ.

Acts 26:17-18 I will save you from your own people and from the Gentiles, I am sending you to them

to open their eyes. I want you to turn them from darkness to light. I want you to turn them from Satan's power to God. I want their sins to be forgiven. They will be forgiven when they believe in me. They will have their place among God's people.'

Romans 15:4-7 Everything written in the past was written to teach us. The Scriptures give us strength to go on. They encourage us and give us hope.

Our God is a God who strengths and encourages you. May he give you the same attitude toward on another that Christ Jesus had.

Then one can give glory to God with one mind and voice. He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ has accepted you. So accept one another in order to bring praise to God.
