1 Samuel 2:27-32 NKJV

1 Samuel 2:27-32 Then a man of God came to Eli and said to him, "Thus says the LORD; 'Did I not clearly reveal Myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?

'Did I not choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be My priest, to offer upon My altar, to burn incense, and the wear an ephod before Me? And did I not give to the house of your father all the offerings of the children of Israel made by fire?

'Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded in My dwelling place, and honor your sons more than Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?'

"Therefore the LORD God of Israel says; 'I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.' But now the LORD says; 'Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

'Behold, the days are coming that I will cut off your arm and the arm of your father's house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.

'And you will see an enemy in My dwelling place, despite all the good which God does for Israel. And there shall not be an old man in your house forever.

Deuteronomy 33:1-7 Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

And he said; "The Lord came from Sinai, And dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, And He came with ten thousands of saints;  From His right hand Came a fiery law for them.

Yes, He loves the people; All His saints are in Your hand; They sit down at Your feet; Everyone receives Your words.

Moses commanded a law for us, A heritage of the congregation of Jacob.

And He was King in Jeshurun, When the leaders of the people were gathered, All the tribes of Israel together.

"Let Reuben live, and not die, Nor let his men be few."

And this he said of Judah: "Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, And bring him to his people; Let his hands be sufficient for him, And may You be a help against his enemies."

Deuteronomy 33:12-17 Of Benjamin he said; "The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him, Who shelters all the day long; And he shall dwell between His shoulders."

And of Joseph he said; "Blessed of the LORD is his land, With the precious things of heaven, with the dew, And the deep lying beneath,

With the precious fruits of the sun, With the precious produce of the months, With the best things of the ancient mountains, With the precious things of the everlasting hills,

With the precious things of the earth and its fullness, And the favor of Him who dwelt in the bush.  Let the blessing come 'on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers."

His glory is like a firstborn bull, And his horns like the horns of the wild ox; Together with them He shall push the peoples To the ends of the earth; They are the ten thousands of Ephraim, And they are the thousands of Manasseh."

Deuteronomy 32:15-18 "But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; You grew fat, you grew thick, You are obese! Then he forsook God who made him, And scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger.

They sacrificed to demons, not to God, To gods they did not know, To new gods, new arrivals That your fathers did not fear.

Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, And have forgotten the God who fathered you.
