Jonah 1:1-17 NKJV

Isaiah 37:36-38 Then the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses--all dead.

So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, returnedhome, and remained at Nineveh.

Now it came to pass, as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer stuck him down with the sword; and they escaped  into the land of Ararat. Then Esarhaddon his son reigned in his place.

Joshua 7:16-21 So Joshua rose early in the morning and brought Israel by thier tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.

He brought the clan of Judah, and he took the family of the Zarhites; and he brought the family of the Zarhites  man by man, and Zabdi was taken.

Now Joshua said to Archan "My son, I beg you, give glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me."

And Achan answered Joshua and said, "Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and this is what I have done;

"When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it."

Nehemiah 9:5-8 And the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said; "Stand up and bless the LORD your God Forever and ever! "Blessed be your glorious name, Which is exalted above all blessing and praise!

You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, And You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You.

"You are the LORD God, Who chose Abram, And brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans, And gave him the name Abraham;

You found his heart faithful before You,  And made a covenant with him To give the land of the Canaanites, The Hittites, the Amorites, The Perizzites, the Jebusites, and the Girgashites-- To give it to his descendants, You have performed Your words. For You are righteous.

Deuteronomy 21:8-9 'Provide atonement, O LORD, for Your people Israel, who You have redeemed, and do not lay innocent blood to the charge of Your people Israel.' And atonement shall be provided on their behalf for the blood.

"So you shall put away the guilt of innocent blood  from among you when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD.
