Job 38:8-18 NKJV
Job 38:8-18 "Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb;
When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band;
When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors;
When I said, "This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!'
"Have you commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its place,
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?
It takes on form like clay under a seal, And stands out like a garment.
From the wicked their light is withheld, And the upraised are is broken.
"Have you entered the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths?
Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?
Have you comprehended the breath of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this.
Genesis 1:9-13 Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”, and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”, and it was so.
And the earth brought forth grass, the herb, that yields seed according to its kind and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
So the evening and the morning were the third day.
Job 36:26-33 "Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him; Nor can the number of His years be discovered.
For He draws up drops drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist,
Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man.
Indeed, can anyone understood the spreading of of clouds, The thunder from His canopy?
Look, He scatters His light upon it, And covers the depths of the sea.
For by these He judges the peoples; He gives food in abundance.
He covers His hands with lightning, And commands it to strike.
His thunder declares it, The cattle also, concerning the rising storm.
Job 26:10-14 He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, At the boundary of light and darkness.
The pillars of heaven tremble, And are astonished at His rebuke.
He stirs up the sea with His power; And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.
By His Spirit He adorned the heavens; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?"

You rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them.

Psalm 74:15-17 You broke open the foundation and the flood; You dried up mighty rivers.

You have set all the borders of the earth; You have made summer and winter.
Psalm 148:5-6 Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.
He also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away.

You led Your people like a flock By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
