Job 38:19-30 NKJV
Job 38:19-30 "Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,
That you may take it to its territory, That you may know the paths to its home?
Do you know it, because you were born then, Or because the number of your days is great?
"Have you entered the treasury of snow, Or have you seen the treasury of hail?
Which I have reserved for the time of trouble, For the day of battle and war?
By what way is light diffused, Or the east wind scattered over the earth?
"Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,
TO cause it to rain on a land where there is no one, A wilderness in which there is no man;
To satisfied the desolate waste, And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?
Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice? And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth?
The waters harden like stone, And the surface of the deep is frozen.
Psalm 135:6-14 Whatever the LORD pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places.
He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lighting for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasures.
He destroys the firstborn of Egypt, Both of man and beast.
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh and all his servants.
He defeated many nations And slew mighty kings--
Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan--
And gave their land as a heritage, A heritage to Israel His people.
Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your fame, O LORD, throughout all generations.
For the LORD will judge His people, And He will have compassion of His servants.
Isaiah 30:29-33 You shall have a song As in the night when a holy festival is kept, And gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute, To come into the mountain of the LORD, To the Mighty One of Israel.
The LORD will cause His glorious voice to be heard, And show the descent of His arm, With the indignation of His anger And the flame of a devouring fire, With scattering, tempest, and hailstones.
For through the voice of the LORD Assyria will be beaten down, As He strikes with the rod.
And in every place where the staff of punishment passes, Which the LORD lays on him, It will be with tambourines and harps; And in battles of brandishing, He will fight with it.
For Tophet was established of old, Yes, for the king it is prepared, He has made it deep and large; Its pyre is fire with much wood; The breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, Kindles it.
Job 36:24-33 "Remember to magnify His work, Of which men have sung,
Everyone has seen it; Man looks on it from afar.
"Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him; Nor can the number of His years be discovered.
For He draws up drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist,
Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man,
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds, The thunder from His canopy?
Look, He scatters His light upon it, And covers the depths of the sea.
For by these He judges the peoples; He gives food in abundance.
He covers His hands with lightning, And commands it to strike.
His thunder declares it, The cattle also, concerning the rising storm.
