What I never imagined was that I could lose everything in one single moment. It happened after an unforgettable night of sin with my girlfriend. As I stood up from her and began to dress, something strange and terrifying occurred. Before my eyes, as though in a trance, I saw an image like myself step out of my body. My heart froze. The image bowed his head and walked backward toward the door. I screamed in fear. My girlfriend, confused, asked what was wrong, but I couldn’t stop shouting. I pointed at the image, but she saw nothing. As the image reached the door and turned to leave, I saw words written on its back — “EXCELLENT SPIRIT.” At that moment, I knew something eternal had just left me. Though I was not deeply spiritual, I understood what it meant to lose an excellent spirit. My brilliance, wisdom, and divine grace — the very gift that set me apart — had departed. I used to be the best student in my department. Lecturers sought my help to interpret complex topics. Everyone admired my intelligence. But that day, something sacred left my life. My girlfriend laughed mockingly, saying, "You’re number five. I’ll get five more to make ten." Then she walked out, leaving me broken and empty. From that day till now, I have never found her. It was as though she disappeared into thin air. I felt hollow — a genius with no glory, a scholar with no spirit. Many have lost divine gifts, favor, anointing, and spiritual covering because of one careless moment of lust.
