Job 38:31-41 NKJV

Job 38:31-41 "Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the belt of Orion?

Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season? Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs?

Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?

"Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That an abundance of water may cover you?

Can you send out lightnings, that they may go, And say to you, 'Here we are!"?

Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?

Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles  of heaven,

When the dust hardens in clumps, And the clogs cling together?

"Can you hunt the prey for the lion, Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,

When they crouch in their dens, Or lurk in their lairs to lie in wait?

Who provides food for the raven, When its young ones cry to God, And wander about for lack of food?

Job 9:1-13 Then Job answered and said;

"Truly I know it is so, But how can a man be righteous before God?

If one wished to contend with Him, He could not answer Him one time out of a thousand.

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength,  Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

He removes the mountains, and they do not know When He overturns them in His anger;

He shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble;

He commands the sun, and it does not rise; He seals off the stars;

He also spreads out the heavens, And treads on the waves of the sea;

He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;

He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number.

If He goes by me, I do not see Him; If He moves past, I do not perceive Him;

If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him, "What are You doing?'

God will not withdraw His anger, The allies of the proud lie prostrate beneath  Him.

Amos 5:8-9 He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning And makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth; The LORD is His name.

He rains ruin upon the strong, So that fury comes upon the fortress.
