Job 38:31-41 NKJV
Jeremiah 31:35-36 Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name);
"If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the LORD, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever."
Psalm 51:1-13 HAVE mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight--That You may be found just when you speak, And blameless when You judge.
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to you.
Psalm 104:19-23 He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down.
You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the beasts of the forest creep about.
The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God.
When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens.
Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening.
Psalm 147:9 He gives to the beast its food, And to the young ravens that cry.
Matthew 6:25-34 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
"Which or you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin;
"and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
"Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
"Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
"For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things, Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Luke 12:22-32 Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about your body; what you will put on.
"Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
"Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you then the birds?
"And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
"If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?
"Consider the lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
"If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
"And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.
"For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.
"But seek the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you.
"Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
