INTRODUCTION
We live in a world that celebrates darkness in the name of fun. One of the major examples is Halloween—a day that glorifies fear, death, ghosts, and evil spirits.
While many see it as harmless entertainment, in the spirit realm, it represents a festival of darkness.
As believers, we must understand that light and darkness cannot mix.
The question is not “What’s wrong with Halloween?”
The question is “What has light to do with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14).

ALL YOU OUGHT TO KNOW ABOUT HALLOWEEN AND CHRISTAINITY
Halloween Is Fellowship with Darkness
Ephesians 5:11
> “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
Halloween originated from ancient pagan rituals connected to spirits of the dead and witchcraft.
It is a night of darkness that celebrates fear, demons, and death.
God’s Word commands us not to participate but to expose it!
Prophetic Declaration:
> “I am a child of light! I refuse to walk in darkness! Every invitation from the kingdom of darkness is rejected in Jesus’ name!”
--- Rhema City International Christian Center
God Forbids Learning the Ways of the Heathen
Deuteronomy 18:9
> “Thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.”
The Bible clearly warns that God’s people must not imitate the abominable customs of unbelieving nations.
When we copy pagan practices like Halloween, we open spiritual doors for demonic influence.
The enemy hides behind culture to normalize evil.
Prophetic Word:
> “Every abomination disguised as celebration shall not find expression in my life! I am separated unto God!”
--- RHEMA CITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
Avoid the Appearance of Evil
1 Thessalonians 5:22
> “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
Even if Halloween seems harmless — “just candy and costumes” — it still appears evil.
When you decorate your home with skulls, ghosts, or witches, you’re indirectly inviting what those symbols represent.
Christians must not look like, act like, or sound like the world.
Declaration:
> “I separate myself from every form of darkness! No mask of the devil shall cover my identity in Christ!”
Be Careful What You Teach Your Children
Proverbs 22:6
> “Train up a child in the way he should go...”
Parents, God has given you authority to shape your children’s spiritual direction.
Do not train them to love the world’s ways.
Do not make evil appear fun.
Teach them to walk in truth, holiness, and the fear of God.
Prophetic Decree:
> “My children shall not dance with darkness! They are carriers of light and fire in this generation!”
Beware of Calling Evil Good
Isaiah 5:20
> “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil...”
In our time, society calls Halloween fun — but God calls it evil.
The world celebrates darkness, but God warns that woe awaits those who mix good and evil.
Believers must be bold enough to stand against deception, even when it is popular.
Prophetic Word:
> “I will not compromise truth! I will stand for holiness even if I stand alone!”
You Cannot Partake of Two Tables
1 Corinthians 10:21
> “Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of devils.”
There is no middle ground — you are either for Christ or against Him.
To celebrate Halloween while claiming to follow Jesus is spiritual double-dealing.
The Lord says, “Come out from among them and be ye separate!” (2 Corinthians 6:17)
Declaration:
> “I choose the table of the Lord! Every covenant of darkness over my life is broken in Jesus’ name!”
---
Rejecting the Light Is Rejecting Christ
John 1:11
> “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”
When we embrace worldly customs that glorify darkness, we reject the Light — Jesus Himself.
Let it not be said that Jesus came to your home, but you decorated your door for darkness.
Choose this day whom you will serve!
---
CONCLUSION
Halloween is not just a festival — it is a spiritual invitation to fear, death, and deception.
But we belong to the Kingdom of Light.
Our celebration is not of darkness, but of victory through Jesus Christ.
Let us renounce every association with Halloween and boldly declare that Christ is our only celebration!
---
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I am a child of light — darkness shall not dwell in me!
Every portal of darkness through Halloween is closed in my life!
My home shall radiate the glory of God, not the symbols of fear!
I refuse to call evil good; I stand for the truth of the Gospel!
My children, my family, and my destiny are separated unto God!
I choose holiness, I choose light, I choose Jesus!
---
ALTAR CALL
If you realize you have opened doors to darkness — through Halloween, movies, music, or worldly celebrations — today is the day of repentance.
Jesus is calling you back to the light.
Come out from among them and be separate.
Say this prayer with faith:
> “Lord Jesus, I repent of every fellowship with darkness.
I renounce every appearance of evil.
Wash me with Your blood.
Fill me with Your Spirit.
From today, I walk in Your light and serve You all my days.
Amen.”
Now declare:
> “I belong to the Kingdom of Light — Halloween has no place in me!”
